The HR Manager is responsible for leading the HR organization in Costa Rica, ensuring the HR strategy is aligned with the business priorities. This position ensures effective service delivery in the following areas: HR Operations, benefit administration, employee relations, training, performance management, talent management, organizational development, onboarding, policy implementation, recruiting/employment, affirmative action, social corporate responsibility, and employment law compliance.  This role is a member of the Leadership Team.

Responsabilidades

  • Leads the HR function in creating an HR strategy that is aligned with the business objectives.
  • Oversees talent acquisition, talent management and development, corporate responsibility ensuring compliance with Labor Ministry and regulations.
  • Ensures robust personnel polices and procedures are in place.
  • Develops department goals, objectives, and systems in line with the objectives of the sites.
  • Ensures local compensation programs are aligned with corporate strategy and aligned with the market.
  • Review and approve payroll reports ensuring on time and accurate administration.
  • Oversees benefit programs including administration, communication, claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices, and oversees annual renewal and open enrollment.Leads all corporate wellness and charitable initiatives.
  • Manages recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees; conducts new employee orientations; coordinates and leads Resonetics participation at local career fairs; monitors career paths and writes and places career advertisements.
  • Coaches the team in employee relations matters.
  • Coaches and develops the HR team to ensure long term development and retention.
  • Provide manager coaching and training including performance management, recruiting, and employee relations management.
  • Assist in coordination of employee recognition events and special programs.
  • Capable of understanding business needs, masters HR methodologies and tools to build the best fit HR Strategy for a fast-pace growing site.
  • Understands which HR KPIs to assess to align HR Strategy with Business Strategy and priorities.
  • Build Talent Pipeline from within based on Talent Identification process. Identifies business Key Positions to assign that talent in a 70/20/10 career development plan.
  • Builds development plans based on leaders, teams and individuals needs to strengthen current and future capabilities in the organization.
  • Works closely with Staff team members in strategies and actions that has positive impact on Key Engagement Indicators, to create and sustain an organization where all associates are willing to stay, contribute and develop their careers.
  • Knits Employer Branding in every HR business interaction and HR Programs that drives and reflects the message of Resonetics values and principles.

Calificaciones

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in a HR Representative / Generalist capacity.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Previous experience as HR Manager/Lead
  • Solid Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on Outlook, Power Point and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written) with ability to communicate with employees at multiple levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience leading change management initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Experience in a fast pace growing manufacturing environment.

Cualificaciones requeridas

  • Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now and Success Factors.
  • Prior experience supporting a plant in Costa Rica.
